This year’s Indonesian Heritage Week theme is “Reinventing the Style of Indonesian Heritage Fabric & Indulge into Traditional Drink.” Students and teachers were taken on a journey to gain a deeper understanding of traditional Indonesian fabrics as a cultural heritage spread throughout the archipelago. They will also explore and preserve traditional Indonesian beverages.
There were some activities conducted during this event such as: Flag raising ceremony, 17 August competition, Traditional fashion week, Indonesian traditional beverages workshop, and bazaar.
Hopefully, by participating in these activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of Indonesian culture and develop a growing sense of love for their country.
