This music curriculum is designed with the belief that all children are musicians. As music preference changes with lifestyle, influence of social media/society and rhythm/pace of life, children’s preference for music and beats follows the trend. – upbeat rhythm, movement and creative music composition. Observing the changes and need for more rooms in creativity for music composition/choreography, therefore the curriculum is revised by introducing children to a broad range of music repertoire from the western, modern popular music around the world to the traditional Indonesian folk music, children music and national songs. The approach used is to ensure every child appreciates music around them and develops a life-long love of music and musical performance.
