Indonesian Studies

Indonesian studies is a combined subject of Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan and Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. This subject is designed to build students’ understanding of various aspects of Indonesia such as culture, human behavior, government regulations, current issues, heritage and many other aspects related to Indonesian social perspectives. Apart from acquiring the knowledge, students are encouraged to enhance their critical thinking skill through discussion, project based learning and problem solving activities.

Through Indonesian Studies, our students develop cross-cultural awareness, critical thinking, and research skills. The goal is to nurture global citizens who understand Indonesia’s role in the world and to cultivate respect for cultural diversity and a sense of interconnectedness with the broader global community.
